
Grated cheese Grana Padano. Hard Italian cheese made from cow's milk. It has a salty, spicy flavor with a slight nutty flavor. Grana padano cheese matures slowly, to 18 months. Grana Padano is used separately or as a supplement to vermouth, wine, usually red, and grated in a similar way as parmesan (for filling pasta, salads and so on).
