Operation Zod is almost unknown to the general public, while it is one of the brightest pages in the history of the last century of Armenia. For the first time and on the basis of new factual data, the authors of the book present the causes, chronology and consequences of the Armenian-Tatar clashes in the Lake Sevan region. Avetis Grigoryan (born in 1989) has graduated from YSU, Faculty of History. He is a researcher at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of Armenian National Academy of Sciences. He is an author of two dozen scientific studies. Arsen Bobokhyan (born in 1975) has graduated from YSU, Faculty of History. He continued his education at the universities of Munich and Tübingen and did his dissertation in Tübingen, receiving the title of Doctor of Philosophy. He is a leading researcher at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of Armenian National Academy of Sciences.
