Leek

Leek is great in pies, meat, vegetable and other dishes, stewed in cream and browned in butter in combination with other vegetables. It is also delicious as a separate dish, and as a garnish. Leek is diuretic, which is associated with the presence of potassium salts. It contains vitamins C, E, B1, B2, PP, carotene.
