Narine Abgaryan was born in 1971, graduated from Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute (now Yerevan State University after Brusov). She has been living and working in Moscow since 1993. At the age of 40, she wrote the book "Manyunya", which brought her recognition. With this book she became a laureate of the Russian National Literary Award of the Year. She was on the list of "Big Book" nomination in 2011. The book "Three apples fell from the sky" was published in 2015. The book was translated into more than 15 languages.
