Nane Barseghyan, who grew up in Soviet Armenia, drops everything and travels to the Rojava region of Syrian Kurdistan in the hope of finding her real father. During the trip, Nana is accompanied by her niece, journalist Alma Barseghyan. In a place devastated by war and violence, the main characters were lucky enough to serve in the women's detachment, where brave women protect the land that has not seen peace for a long time. The army of women going through the hardest trials teaches the most important lesson. Nothing in life comes without a fight. The story of Nane Barseghyan develops against the backdrop of the fight against the Islamic State, Turkish troops and the harsh reality of Syria. Magda Takhtachyan combines emotional storytelling with journalistic insight in this novel. And creates a story about identity and love.
